This scene here…the way they look at each other…I mean, how can you not see it? How can you not see the tension between them? And not just the sexual tension, although that’s definite factor, but the feelings underneath those eyes just rips right through you. You can see passion, understanding…and fear….you can see the hint of fear in their eyes…especially Emma’s.

She knows the feelings she’s having inside of her for Hook are real and that’s scary for her because she knows he’s capable of breaking her heart. As for Hook, Emma is the first woman to stir feelings inside him that have been dead every since Milah died in his arms and that’s terrifying to him because she’s capable of breaking his heart.

The journey these two will go on next season will be an amazing thing to watch. They’ll fight each other and then fight back to back together. He’ll save her life so she can return the favor and save his later. She’ll put up that wall of hers until he finally knocks it down. He’ll push her away to protect her, but she’ll just keep coming back. Their kisses will be hot with passion and anger one moment and the soft and tender the next. They will go through all of these ups and downs together and in the end they will save Henry together.

At first their feelings for each other will scare them, but then they will realize the thought of losing the other will scare them even more.
